This patient’s chief complaint was that she was embarrassed to smile with her lower teeth. She had previous work on the top, and most of her top teeth were covered with crowns. But her bottom teeth had been suffering immensely.
Only 3 of her bottom teeth needed to be removed, and the others were surprisingly salvageable. The darkness was mostly arrested decay and there was quite a bit of tooth structure left to anchor crowns and bridges to.
She was treated with 3 zirconia crowns on the upper left and 14 units of zirconia crown and bridge on the lower. Amazingly, the final result was very pleasing. The patient said she’s going to return to redo the upper in the future.
