Dr. Peter Diacoloukas is Your Towson, MD Dentist
Dr. Peter Diacoloukas is a Rosedale, Maryland, native and has been practicing dentistry since 2003. From a young age, he worked alongside his brothers in his father’s family-owned dental laboratory. Every year, his summer job was as a lab technician. He spent his summers learning about dentistry from his father, Gus, who started the lab in 1972. He still works with Friendship Dental Lab, where he has been the resident dentist for years. Digital Dentistry
For ten years, Dr. Diacoloukas was involved in quality control at the Friendship Dental Lab, establishing guidelines for digital dentistry. Dr. Diacoloukas brought advancements in modern dentistry, including digital diagnosis and treatment options, to the laboratory.
From digitally crafted and milled dental crowns to digital smile design, Dr. Diacoloukas uses digital software to create restorations and cosmetic makeovers that improve the appearance and health of patient smiles.
Education
Dr. Diacoloukas completed a three-year accelerated dental program and graduated from the University of Maryland in 1999. In 2003, he completed dental school and received a degree in Dental Surgery.
While in dental school, Dr. Diacoloukas was chosen to be one of three participants in the prosthodontic clerkship at the Universiry of Maryland Dental school. He was allowed to tackle more advanced cases and he graduated at the top of his class, completing over 120 units of crown and bridge while the requirement to graduate was 16 units.
Dedicated to serving his community, Dr. Diacoloukas enjoys learning and perfecting the latest techniques in specialized dentistry. Dr. Diacoloukas resides in Fallston, Maryland, with his wonderful wife, Ashley, and three small children. When he is not busy in the office, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, traveling, and taking memorable family vacations.
